Shrouded wind turbine performance in yawed turbulent flow conditions

چکیده

Wind turbines represent a growing energy source worldwide. In many cases, operating in turbulent and changing wind direction spots. this work, we use tunnel to analyze the effect of turbulence turbine provided with Lens flow concentrator, under yaw conditions, for intensity values 10% 15%. Measurements are made power coefficient as function Tip Speed Ratio using two types Lens, CiiB5 CiiB10, at angles from [Formula: see text] text]. general, an increase angle causes reduction coefficient. If operates stronger turbulence, greater performance is obtained. conclusion, case = or less, offers better than without concentrator.
